Recent representative matters include: Total SA’s two major divestitures of its specialty chemicals affiliate Atotech B.V., a global manufacturer of high-technology plating solutions, to The Carlyle Group, and of its worldwide adhesives business to Arkema; Calgon Carbon’s acquisition of Arkema’s wood-based activated carbon, reactivation, and mineral-based filtration media business; crude oil storage operator Pisto’s tentative acquisition of a 30% stake in the Trapil pipeline network from Total; and Greystar Real Estate Partners in relation to a joint venture for the development of purpose-built student accommodations and young professional accommodations in the Greater Paris region, with an investment capacity of circa Ǩ1 billion.
