MY CLIENT PHILOSOPHY
"Anyone who has passed the bar is able to identify problems, but the most important aspect of effective legal representation is to identify the client’s needs and offer feasible solutions. It is often necessary to charge forcefully into the throes of litigation, but if these needs can be met without the attendant expense and – more importantly – burden on the client, its legal department, and its employees, that is often the most beneficial outcome."
– David P. Chiappetta
David Chiappetta is a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. With over twenty five years of legal experience, his practice primarily involves the litigation of complex commercial disputes, with a focus on antitrust and unfair business practice claims, class actions, real estate and construction disputes, and intellectual property matters.
David also has extensive experience counseling clients on issues relating to antitrust law and trade regulation. He has represented clients before federal and state government enforcement agencies in relation to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and civil and criminal investigations. In handling these matters, David is able to provide significant insight into the mindset of a government regulatory body, having spent four years prosecuting cases for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
