Doug Green chairs Venable’s national Environmental Group. Doug represents associations and individual clients in complex administrative and appellate litigation, and enforcement defense, and offers compliance counseling under the nation’s environmental statutes, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the Clean Air Act (CAA). He has established important relationships with federal and state regulators that enable him to represent his clients in crafting successful solutions to complex and, often, adversarial regulatory problems.
